Nate Robinson has won the world boxing title by knocking out Manny Pacquiao at the US Open.
The 29-year-old had previously won the title at the last two major international events, the Pan American Games in 2007 and 2008.
Robinson, who made his international debut in 2011, defeated Pacquio by a unanimous decision.
Robison, a native of St Louis, Missouri, was the No 1 ranked boxer in the world in the 2016 Olympic rankings.
Roberson, who will fight Manny Paczov in the main event on Saturday (AEDT) in Atlanta, has won 17 of his 20 professional fights and finished his career ranked fifth in the heavyweight division.
