NFL superstar Anthony Joshua says he is “very happy” to have the support of his wife and children and says he “hopes” the support will continue.
Joshua is currently on a seven-fight win streak and has lost only twice on the trot.
He is coming off of a knockout loss to Saul ‘Canelo’ Alvarez and hopes the support he has received will keep him in the game long-term.
He said that the support from his family is a big part of his success and that he “looks forward to the future” with them.
“My wife and I are very happy.
We have a lot of support and I look forward to it.
My wife and kids are great and they love the game,” Joshua said on Thursday.
“I hope the support continues, I want to keep fighting.
I want them to see that I am a fighter and I have to fight.”
Joshua said that his “legs were always in the ground” but said that he has become a much better boxer as he “learned the ropes.”
Joshua has been training for his upcoming fight with Amir Khan at Madison Square Garden.
He will next face Sergio Martinez on April 28.
