Posted by Wired on Monday, November 27, 2018 11:25:29The Post Office Box at the Fedex drop boxes near me and box near me is almost empty.
I could just have the boxes all on my own, but my husband and I are both working on making this happen.
This post-holiday box can hold two boxes, each with a post office address.
We live in a small apartment, so it’s really convenient for our families.
I had planned to get my post office boxes from my local post office, but the FedEx box was a bit more convenient.
The FedEx box will also hold my boxes until they are delivered by FedEx, and my husband can keep them for the day.
“This post office should be bigger than this, I mean, it’s about 10 years old,” said Julie.
I’m happy to know that it can hold the boxes for us, but I was worried about what would happen if the post office was closed for the holiday season.
The Postmaster at the Federal Trade Commission office in Atlanta told us that while the FedEX box would be available for delivery, there are some restrictions that we need to know about.
“The USPS does not allow for deliveries to be made outside of the U.S.,” the agency said in a statement.
“For this reason, the Postmaster has directed that FedEx boxes must be delivered by Fedex in order to be accepted as an official delivery.”
Fedex declined to comment on this particular case, but said it “is committed to supporting its Postal Service partners in the post-Holiday season and will continue to offer a robust delivery service.”
“The Post office boxes will be delivered at our own expense and will be provided to the customer as described above,” it added.
For now, I’m sure my mail is going to be delivered this way.
